Oil and Gas Drilling Rig onshore dessert with dramatic cloudscape. Oil drilling rig operation on the oil platform in oil and gas industry.

According to the information base of the Oil Ministry, Jafar Tawfiqi, CEO of the Petroleum Industry Research Institute, pointed out the importance of this project and said “The beginning of this cooperation is very valuable because it is a national project and very extensive in terms of technical knowledge. I am optimistic that we can do this project well with the cooperation of two research facilities “. He added “in consideration to the high capacity of the country on land and sea, fortunately, the implementation of research projects is one of the important policies of Oil Ministry in the oil and gas fields. On the other hand, this project has great importance to manage discovery as an employer. Therefore, it is necessary to cooperate mutually and use the knowledge, managerial and, executive capacities of both parties to be able to complete a successful project. The CEO of the Petroleum Industry Research Institute asserted: “Field studies and over-exploitation of oil and gas tanks, related projects to drilling, production and carrying out several exploration projects are the things that are being followed and done in this field, and we hope with scientific support exists in upstream of this organization, this national project will achieve positive results “. He continued “fortunately a group of eminent professionals and researchers are working in a national oceanology institute and I’m sure that if both parties step forward with all their scientific, managerial and, knowledge capabilities in this great project, they can prove a successful experience. Cooperation in other similar areas will be using the capabilities of the parties”.

Water and sediments sampling of Oman sea

The CEO of Oman Sea Gas Hydraulic Resources Quantitative and Qualitative Research Project, Nasser Keshavarz Farajkhah, on the sidelines of signing contract between the Oil Industry Institute and the National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Science, referred to the implementation process of this huge project and said ” In cooperation with discovery management of Iranian oil in the studies of gas hydrate resources, gas hydrate resources of the Oman Sea in 2019 in an executive program for four years was assigned to the Oil Industry Research Institute. He asserted that most of the seismic studies have been the subject of work of researchers of the Oil Industry Research Institute in the past 2 years. He said ” this project includes 11 technical phases, two of which will be the subject of cooperation between the Oil Industry Research Institute and the National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences. The director of the Oman Sea Gas Hydraulic Resources Quantitative and Qualitative Study Project added “Multibeam echo sounder data collection is one of the subjects of this cooperation. In addition to drawing the seabed map and identifying the seabed features, also provides the possibility of identifying possible gas flows from the Oman seabed. He considered water and sediments sampling of Oman Sea as another part of this cooperation and said “Sampling of seawater and measuring its physical and chemical properties in the specified points is on the agenda of the parties, which will provide suitable input for thermodynamic modeling. The CEO of Oman Sea Gas Hydraulic Resources Quantitative and Qualitative Research Project mentioned ” fortunately National Institute of Oceanography has suitable equipment and facilities for these activities and we hope we could achieve positive results by implementing this contract by using of available knowledge and capacity of Oil Industry Institute.
